Both consoles are a fantastic piece of machine with some advantages and disadvantages between them, regardless of your preferences or traditions, any of these consoles can bring an exceptionally entertaining experience in your house.

However, the PS4 Pro and the Xbox X are still two pieces of machines with formidable features and capabilities that can get the most out of your 4K television.
One advantage of the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X over the new generations is that there are currently available an endless number of not expensive games that you can play and enjoy to the fullest. Something that is still limited for the new generations as there are few wonderful games exclusive for these two new consoles. Also, most of the new games are also available for the PS4 and Xbox One. Therefore, why spend extra money if you can invest it in high-quality games with the previous generation?. Also, the prices of these two machines are getting cheaper during the time and are considerably lower compared to the two new consoles, without taking into account the prices that you can see on eBay or other websites for a PS5 or the Xbox Series X.
If you decide to buy one of these two, and if you have no preference over a Sony or a Microsoft console, the dilemma would be which one to choose.
PS4 Pro advantages:
Without a doubt Playstation 4 is the best-selling console by a high margin, managing to have more available and exclusive AAA quality games, without detracting from the unique games that Xbox has such as Halo, Forza among others.
In terms of controllers and accessories, the PS4 has an advantage as it has the PSVR headset which immerses players in a completely new gaming experience.
Also, the PS4 Pro is cheaper than the competence.
Xbox One X advantages:
In terms of specifications such as CPU, GPU and RAM, the Xbox has a clear advantage over the Playstation, which can be seen in terms of image quality and speed, allowing it to achieve 4K quality and 60fps. Therefore, if you have a 4K tv, this console can make the best of it.
Another aspect that the Xbox One X has in its favour is the online service, which is slightly better thanks to the great service that Game Pass offers. Also, it can read blue-ray disks in 4K and it can offer excellent home theatre advantages thanks to audio bitstream and Dolby Atmos.
Actually, both consoles are fantastic, and for a poorly trained eye, the difference may be minimal or imperceptible. In the end, much of what matters is the experience that is lived in each available game. There is currently an extensive list of games that can make you have a great time regardless of the console you choose.
