This is the new Xbox series X

2020 is an important year for the digital world and especially for the millions of console fans around the world, as the two largest companies in this industry will launch their new generations later this year.

During the last few years, Microsoft has been betting heavily on creating consoles with superior characteristics than PlayStation in order to snatch a piece of market share from the giant of Sony. For this, it has been betting on consoles with capacities of almost computers for gamers. Therefore, to fight in this battle, Microsoft developed the new Xbox X with outstanding technical characteristics, and for sure, during the next years we will see a war of the titans.

As for its exterior, Microsoft bet on a square design in the style of a desktop computer CPU. Truly a model not as risky as the PS5 with its two white side covers and its mix of rounded and straight shapes. The design will surely match well next to your TV. Also, Microsoft has only revealed a black console for the X model. Perhaps we will know if it handles different colours, at least with its controller.

As for the controller of the Xbox X, Microsoft kept the same essence of the previous one, something that is positive since some consider it the best controller on the market. The size is slightly smaller, which is comfortable for people with slightly smaller hands, and minor improvements were also made in ergonomics, grip, and comfort. Also, a button was added to make screen captures and be able to share it on the network, something very similar to the PS4 controller. It will also have a low consumption Bluetooth connection, an internal battery which can be charged with a USB C cable and it will also have a system to reduce the latency in the controller so that any order sent, it will be reflected more quickly on the screen.

On the other hand, Microsoft affirmed that the Xbox X would have backward compatibility in games with the Xbox One and also confirmed a list of games that will be released between the end of the year and 2021. Among the names are:
